This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used and protected when you use this website (annamylee.com). I am committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
The person responsible for your data (the data controller) is Anna Mylee, reachable at contact@annamylee.com.
What data I collect
Data you actively provide:
- Contact form: your name, email address, the subject of your enquiry and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
Data collected automatically by the server:
- Server logs: when a page is requested, my own server records the page address, the date and time, the response status, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.
- Technical records: when a contact message or a newsletter signup is processed, the email address involved and whether the operation succeeded are recorded, so that a delivery problem can be investigated and fixed.
This site uses no cookies. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, no analytics script and no profiling. Visitor statistics come solely from the server logs described above, which are hosted on my own server and never shared.
Why I use it (purpose & legal basis)
- Contact form — to read and reply to your message. Legal basis: your consent / my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Newsletter — to send you news, releases and tour dates. Legal basis: your explicit consent, confirmed via a double opt-in email.
- Server logs & technical records — to keep the site secure and working, to know how many people visit it, and to detect when a message or confirmation email fails to go out. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in operating a functioning website.
Who I share it with
Your data is processed by the following service providers, solely to operate this site:
- Hostinger — web hosting and transactional email (the contact form and confirmation emails).
- MailerLite — newsletter management (storing confirmed subscribers and sending campaigns).
Server logs and technical records are not shared with anyone: they stay on my own server and are only readable by me.
I never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
- Contact messages: kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe (every email includes an unsubscribe link).
- Server logs and technical records: automatically deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to its processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@annamylee.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

I may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
